Borets Company is a reliable partner proved by the time. The company celebrated its 110-th anniversary in 2007. The history of Borets dates back to 1897 with the manufacture of steam and drive pumps.
In the 1950-60-s Borets proved to be the first company who developed the manufacture of oilfield equipment.
During the period of perestroika the company introduced new economic methods and a strong growth of production has started since 1995.
Since 1998 the company has been developing service for oilfield equipment. 
Since 1999 the company has acquired a number of the following plants: Kineshma powder metallurgy plant, Lemaz pump plant, Kurgan cable plant, Lysva submersible motor plant.
Since 2005 Borets has been developing co-operation with foreign companies and thus, getting additional operating experience in the global market.
Successful growth of the company is guaranteed by long term and mutually beneficial co-operation with its partners, among them are Russian leading oil companies - Rosneft, TNK-ÂÐ, Surgutneftegas, LukOil, Gaspromneft, Sibneft, Tatneft, Bashneft, Slavneft, RussNeft and etc.

Developed service group

• Borets Service company is the Russian company providing a complete set of services on operation, repair and maintenance of oilfield equipment. The company has a number of service bases – Centroforce located in Nizhnevartovsk, Borets-Muravlenko in the town of Muravlenko, Borets Service-Nefteyugansk in the town of Pit Yakh, OP SC Borets located in the towns of Neftekumsk and Krasnodar. All these bases employ experienced personnel who provide service to about 12000 wells.
• Borets Nefteservice provides service for the development, exploration and testing of exploratory, production oil and gas wells.

Manufacturing group that includes

• Moscow Borets plant – one of the leading manufacturers of complete oil production systems. The plant permanently introduces new up-to-date equipment. It utilizes EMAG automatic turning machines (German made) designed as per Borets’ order, Haas (US made) turning semi-automatic machines and vertical processing centers.
• Modern manufacturer of oilfield equipment – Lemaz company. High quality of manufacture is achieved due to the following:
  • long experience in design and manufacture of different types of pump.
  • foundry is equipped with modern (German made) equipment LAEMPE and technology enabling manufacture of moulds for stages without heating (so called «Cold-Box-Amin») instead catalyzed gas injection.
  • utilization of the latest EMAG lathes for machining of impellers and diffusers, utilization of turret machines (made by HAAS AUTOMATION INC.) for the manufacture of housing components.
• Lysva plant performs in the sphere of drives for submersible oilfield equipment.
• Kurgan plant is currently the single Russian manufacturer of high temperature cable designed for submersible systems operating at up to +230 °C.
• KONTEKKO is the main supplier of magnet wire required for the manufacture and repair of submersible motors. 
• Technologya Research Company provides manufacture of components using powder metallurgy method.

Center for the development of oilfield equipment (CRNO) provides development of up-to-date technologies and equipment required for oil recovery.
Among the latest developments are:

• Technology of PMM rotor manufacture by the method of powder metallurgy, manufacture of stages of high strength Ni-resist and wear-corrosion resistant grey iron (Co-resist).
• Mechanical rubber products of high temperature resistance up to + 250°C. 
• Technology of even application of corrosion resistant coating on housings, end components of pump and motors using the latest equipment and materials.
• New PMM control circuit with adjustable current regulator and inductive filter for contact-free DC motors.
• High-performance design of oilfield equipment and ESP stages.

21 patents for inventions, 23 patents for useful models and 5 patents for industrial samples have been registered in all spheres of company’s activities for the recent three years.
