Gas Stabilizing Modules

Gas stabilizing modules are designed for reducing harmful effect of free gas in formation fluid during ESP operation and are installed at pump input instead of intake modules.

Gas separators
Dispersants
Gas separators-dispersants
MNFB multiphase pump units.

Gas separators

Borets manufactures gas separators of type 3MNGB, in sizes 5, 5À, 6 and 6B for operation with pump types ESPD, ESPM, 10ESPD, 10ESPM and ESPDP. Gas separators are installed at the pump intake in order to reduce free gas content of the formation fluid before it enters into the submersible pump.

All of the models of the gas separators do not have an axial bearing in their design. Thrust loads in 3MNGB type gas separator are transferred to the thrust bearing of the protector. This thrust bearing is operating in clean oil and so is not exposed to aggressive fluids, increasing reliability and durability.

All gas separators are equipped with a tubular liner, protecting the gas separator housing from hydro-abrasive wear. The tubular liners, heads and bases of the gas separators are made from stainless steel to increase resistance to abrasive wear. Joints are sealed by rubber gaskets for protection from gas inrush into them. In order to increase the rigidity of the shaft intermediate radial bearing are installed. The material of the bearings is tungsten carbide.

Gas separator GS5-1V

This gas separator is a device to separate dynamic gas using effect of free vortex and differs from ordinary gas separator.

Relation of gas percentage at pump intake vs. fluid production at residual gas content value of 25%.

Dispersants

Borets manufactures dispersants of type 3MNDB, in sizes 5, 5À and 6 for operation with ESPD, ESPM, 10ESPD, 10ESPM and ESPDP pumps. Dispersants are used for breaking up accumulated gas in formation fluid and prepare a homogeneous gas-liquid mixture before it enters the pump intake.

Dispersants are used in wells with increased foaming characteristics instead of gas separators at the pump intake. This design of dispersant does not have a shaft thrust bearing, so the thrust loads are transferred to the shaft of the protector.

The inner liners of the dispersant housings are made of stainless steel to increase resistance to hydro-abrasive wear. Couplings joints are sealed by rubber gaskets for protection from gas inrush into the housing.

Gas separators-dispersants

Borets manufactures gas separators-dispersants of type 3MNGDB, in sizes 5, 5À and  6 for operation with pump types ESPD, ESPM, 10ESPD, 10ESPM and ESPDP.

The gas separators-dispersants are used to reduce gas content in the formation fluid and to convert it into a homogeneous gas-liquid mixture before it enters the pump. In wells with abnormally high GOR where neither the gas separator nor dispersant can provide stable operation of the submersible pump the gas separators-dispersants are installed.

In the design of the gas separator-dispersant one shaft incorporates first the parts of the gas separator and then the parts of the dispersant. The 3MNGDB type gas separators-dispersants do of not have shaft thrust bearings in their design, the thrust loads are transferred to the shaft of the protector.
